Counselling
We can offer safe and confidential support to cancer patients and their loved ones. Talking to someone removed from your situation can help you understand your thoughts and feelings.
Coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis can be very difficult. Sometimes we feel the need to stay strong for others and to suppress a million thoughts running through our minds. It can be hard to know where to turn to or who to talk to. In this difficult time Rathdrum Cancer Support are here for you.
We provide a safe and trusted environment to give you space and time to explore your experience.
At our centre we offer, free of charge, 6 individual one-to-one therapy sessions with our dedicated in house counsellor.
Imelda is our counsellor and psychotherapist with a degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is a pre-accredited member of the IACP (awarding body for counsellors and psychotherapists).
Imelda believes the relationship between the therapist and the client is essential. She aims to nurture meaningful connections to help guide her clients through difficult times and find peace in themselves.
To avail of our counselling service or for more information, please contact Imelda, by phone or email, to see how she can support you.
